Overview

NAMM, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), commonly called NAMM in reference to the organization's popular NAMM trade shows, is the not-for-profit association that promotes the pleasures and benefits of making music and strengthens the $17 billion global music products industry. Our association — and our trade shows — serve as a hub for people wanting to seek out the newest innovations in musical products, recording technology, sound and lighting. NAMM's activities and programs are designed to promote music making to people of all ages.

Keynote Speakers +

Tony Brown

Brown’s credits including playing keyboard for Elvis Presley, and producing some of country music’s biggest hit songs, including Reba’s “Fancy,” Steve Earle’s “Copperhead Road,” Trisha Yearwood’s “How Do I Live,” and “Troubadour” from George Strait. Brown will offer a knowledge gleaned from his 40 years in the music industry during the keynote, which will take place on Jan. 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. “The 2016 NAMM Show prepares for the largest global presence in show’s history,” said Joe Lamond, president and CEO of NAMM. Brown will reveal the cover and title of his upcoming coffee table book during a meet-and-greet signing at NAMM. The book is a documentary of his life, and features more than 40 artists and high-profile individuals, including Reba, Vince Gill, George Strait, Don Was, Scott Borchetta, and Jerry Bradley.
