KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Erika Andersen

Since 1980, Erika Andersen has developed a reputation for creating approaches to learning and business-building that are uniquely tailored to her clients’ challenges, goals, and culture. After having worked for three different “people development” companies, she noticed that they all focused on selling solutions rather than working with clients to create the successful future they envisioned, by whatever means would best achieve it. She felt that if she could partner with clients in the opposite way—clarifying and solving their challenges versus selling a particular solution—she could build long-term client relationships of true mutual benefit. To fulfill that vision, she founded Proteus International, Inc. in 1990. Proteus started by offering learning consultation and design, vision and strategy facilitation, executive coaching and management skills development. Within the first two years Proteus clients included PepsiCo, Taco Bell, and MTV Networks. Erika has served as consultant and advisor to the CEOs and top executives of a number of corporations, including Rockwell Automation, Turner Broadcasting, Miller Coors, NBC Universal, Union Square Hospitality Group, and Comcast Corporation.
