1:00 to 3:15 pm SDCC, TBD Humanitarian Efforts Committee Forum The Humanitarian Forum is a gathering that highlights the humanitarian work and partnerships of AAO-HNS members in the developing world.
3:30 to 5:30 pm SDCC, TBD International Assembly All international members in attendance are invited to this forum, including the 2016 International Guests of Honor, International Visiting Scholars, and delegates from International Corresponding Societies, to discuss issues.
5:30 to 6:00 pm SDCC, TBD AAO-HNS Member Orientation This session will give you insights on how to maximize your membership with AAO-HNS by taking advantage of all member benefits and opportunities. Come to this session to learn about the value of the AAO-HNS, meet key leaders, and ask questions of our knowledgeable staff. A selection of appetizers and refreshments will be served.
6:00 to 7:30 pm SDCC, Center Terrace President's Reception The President’s Reception is open to all Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO? attendees, including registered guests. One of our most popular events, this reception honors the outgoing president and provides an opportunity for you to enjoy a relaxing celebratory atmosphere with your peers. Badges are mandatory, so if bringing a guest please be sure they are registered.
7:30 to 9:30 am SDCC, TBD Women in Otolaryngology (WIO) Section General Assembly The WIO Section exists to enhance the careers of women otolaryngologists. Join WIO members and supporters for presentations from AAO-HNS leaders, a keynote speaker panel, section elections, and presentation of awards.
11:00 to 12:00 pm SDCC, Hall D Poster Presentations Meet-and-Greet Learn about the latest advances in research directly from the source! Ask questions and share experiences with poster presenters in a truly interactive session.
5:00 to 7:00 pm SDCC, TBD Board of Governors (BOG) General Assembly The BOG is the grassroots member network of the AAO-HNS and is composed of local, state, regional, and national otolaryngology societies from across the U.S. and Canada. The General Assembly provides the opportunity to hear BOG committee reports, addresses from the Academy’s BOG leadership, EVP/CEO, and President, and to listen to candidate speeches for BOG office. Governors or alternate Governors are expected to attend this event, cast their votes on issues and candidates, and report/share the content and events of the General Assembly with their society members. All AAO-HNS members are invited to attend as non-voting guests.

As a medical student, resident, and/or fellow-in-training, this is an ideal venue to meet colleagues, have a voice in the Academy, and get involved in AAO-HNS initiatives and activities.
3:30 to 5:30 pm SDCC, TBD Young Physicians Section (YPS) General Assembly Presentations from YPS leaders and the election of new officers will take place.
6:30 to 8:00 pm Hilton Bayfront, TBD Alumni Receptions Visit with your friends and colleagues from other institutions, enjoy a lavish selection of delicious appetizers and treats, and be entertained by local talent.
8:00 to 10:00 pm Hilton Bayfront, TBD International Reception (by invitation only) All registered international attendees and international guests are invited to this reception, where Academy President will honor the International Guests of Honor Countries. Celebrate with a D.J., dancing, and enjoy delicious desserts. We encourage international visitors to wear national dress or a lapel pin with their country’s flag or society emblem.
